RED LEOPARD

AshLopez Jan 26, 2007 02:46 AM

Here's my Boy !!!IHe took his first Frozen Thawed Mouse.I messed up and started him on Live mice pinkies because he wasn't eating F.T. rat pups. Now that he's eating F.T. I just got to get him on rats.

I was so proud of him that I decided to post pics. This was right before he ate.

I don't think his pattern is genetic. It would be kool if it was.Only time will tell.

He is one of two that came out with the Leopard Pattern.Steve Frist (5 rings)has his brother.

He is one sexy little bugger Can't wait to see him as he grows. Genetic in one way or another still makes for some nice animals, even if its not something co-dom, recessive, and such.

That is one of the most gorgeous animals I have ever seen! What makes you think he isn't exhibiting a genetically inheritable trait? Could you share some background on his parents?

The parents where 2 normal bloods with the exception of the mom who is a extremely atractive Ox blood colored female. The father was at the other end of the spectrum and was a very clean grey headed yellow colored male.

I sday that i don't think that it is genetic,is because the two males that had the Leopard Pattern were the only two eggs that I incubated myself. The rest I let the mom incubate.

did anything unusual happen during incubation? I would have thought it more likely that an incubation error would have come from mom. Keep us all posted on any new info on these. Good luck
