Here's an old photo of Ernie the turtle snoozing in the sun in theearly spring, fresh out of hibernation.
He looks pretty relaxed, doesn't he?!

Looks like he's enjoying some warm rays! Love his shell pattern. Thanks for sharing!

Here's a close-up of his shell. The pattern is completely different from those of the othe turtles I have here. It's more like a mosaic.

Very nice Steph. From the "loungin'" picture, it appears as if your little guy might have gotten into some magic mushrooms. It's like he passed out mid-stride. Very comical. I can see that picture on a "get well" greeting card.

Oh my! I never saw anything like that! He either feels so safe in his environment that he does not worry about his nappy time, or he did find some funky mushrooms growing somewhere...

He is OK, isn't he? I mean, it is so funny, but I never saw mine so relaxed, they slid off the shell like that!

Yeah, Ernie's just fine...that photo was taken a few years ago, and he's still with us, and hasn't ever been sick since we've had him.
