hey, this is a pic of what i found in my monitor's fecal matter.it had a normal looking part (brown w/ a bit of calcium) looks a lot like a big bird poop.haha but yeah there was this rolled up thing on the side of it. its the picture below... could it be an egg?...(ive never had eggs w/ monitors).the only thing w/ this is that there isnt anything in it,it doesnt any holes.could she have reabsorbed(sp) it the contents inside? it is kind of like having a tied up bolloon pop w/ out the tied end. its rubbery in texture too like many reptiles eggs.im guessing if u do inflate it ,its about the size of a ping pong ball.

thank you

If it is an empty, white-ish, leathery sack that was in her poop, it is most likely a monitor egg that was laid, then eaten.

It is a female. hahahahahahahahaha

And don't go telling me its too small. It just told you its not to small. It just educated you about monitors.

As you have seen, many here ridicule me on how young my monitors breed successfully. I think they are nuts, the reason is simple. Just like you. I did nothing to cause them to lay eggs. They just do when healthy. As you have now seen, you do not breed them, they simply reproduce when ready, no matter what you think.

My advice, get a male, hahahahahahaha. Cheers

haha thanx frank. a male would cost me 1k for the animal then maybe another few hundred for CORRECT size cage/setup.hahha. ive seen sulfurs bred by other salvators before.either way i think the experiences would be fun.maybe i should get a young male about her size.
