WHITE TOENAILS

emysbreeder Jan 26, 2007 09:23 PM

To all Manouria owners,Thanks for your help on the head pics, keep them coming if you can.We need more phayrei shots though. Heres another difference i'm trying to see if it holds up.Most of my emys emys babies have some white toenails. On adults they are some yellowish toenails, sometimes just on the back side of the toenail.I have never seen white toenails in phayrei (and i've seen many)How about yours ? Emys emys also sometimes have a white patch under their neck, again never in phayrei.Hay, if we bred all the ee's with the biggest white patches and the most white toenails would we get a WHITE tortoise in about a hundred years.Thats how dog breeders got the first white German Shepherd LOL i di-gress...but the white toenail thing is important.I'll tell you why in a chapter called"The self anointed goo-roos of cosmic taxomony" Vic
