a little help...

pythona Jan 27, 2007 06:00 AM

would be greatly appreciated. I have a female leo that won't put on weight. She seems to be losing weight if anything. She eats just as much as the other leos in the tank but to no avail. I have also noticed that she sheds more frequently then the others. I'm at work now and don't have any pics to post, but i will snap some and post them when I get home. Any input or suggestions for saving this little girl before she sheds herself into oblivion??

Sounds like parasites to me. How often is she shedding?

Try feeding her some wax worms but not as steady diet bc they supposely become addicted to them but they r supposed to make them put on some weight

I second the idea that it might be parasites. Eating but not putting on weight could easily be caused by parasites. Vet trip.

She is shedding at least once a week, somtimes twice. She will still have skin on her fromt he previous shed when the next one starts.
