Ive had my 3 1/2ft boa for 4 months and she just refused food for the 1st time last week...THe rat was big large rat she usually gets mediums every 10 days. Also she was in the VERY beginning stages of shedding is there a reason she wasnty eatng she also ate the head up to the head* then spit it out....Was this because she was shedding...rat too big?? Or just doesnt wanna eat?

My boa never eats at the very begining or any stage of its shed. But it also never even attemps to bite the rat it just turns away from it. Maybe the rat was just too big and it knew it couldnt handle it?

I really hope I love her alot shes the first snakethat IU ket for a long time Im ossry is saturday nite ive been drikin exuse my tpin but I hope shes ok When shes done sheddin I will try to feed her a MEDIUM RAT this yimre live just to induce it then I will try a PEKILLED MDIUM LIKE SHES BEEN USED TO AND THEN i HOPE SYE EATS IT i WANT HER TO BE HEALRHH THQNKS ALOT!
