About 6-8 years ago i purchased two Mali/Moraccon uros from Jason Shanaman. They both have gotten huge and have taken on the colring of a Moraccon. The reason for my post is to see if anyone on here did the same and to compare pics of this corss.

Just a quick question, would a mali/moroccan cross be a fertile animal? The basic understanding I have of genetics tells me it wouldn't, but I really don't know about uromastyxes.
Well im not a genitic wiz, so i wouldn't know the true answer. But if you are willing please explain your thinking. And we will probably find out in about 2 years.
Well, if they are different species, then it would be a true hybrid. Mules are hybrids of horses and donkeys, and sterile. Same goes for ligers, tigons, and every other successfully created hybrid, with the exception of wolf dogs and bengal cats. So I guess I'm just wondering how close the species are genetically.
