on average how far apart are clutches lain and what's the best incubating medium to put the eggs in?

Clutches can be laid any where from 10 days to 6 weeks apart, but normal is between 12-16 days. Each female is different, and first year breeders can sometimes take longer between clutches. I have one female now that's throughing clutches every 4 weeks.

I use perlite, with a ratio of 1:.80 perlite to water.

Yea they all vary. Anywhere from 4-6 weeks is usually the norm. I use a havobator incubation system with vermucilite!
