I'm curious what size litters you guys who have bred northern pacifics have gotten.
Also what do you guys usually keep the babies in?

Hi Jason, I have bred oreganus several times in the past, mine typically had a litter of 4-8 neos. Kept them together for a few days post parturation and then seperated them into ind. enclosures (small, lockable 10gallon size box). Initial meals were sceloperus followed by pinks and fuzzies. Good luck and watch your fingers

Thanks for the reply. I was planing on just starting out with pinkies. Do you know of any reasons why that wouldnt work?
Hopefully I get some babies, gonna warm my pair back up in a couple weeks.

Well, most of animals that I worked with started on lizards p'cause that was the most available prey item to them at that age, in their habitat. I dont see why they wouldnt take a pinkie, especially if it was small enough. They usually feed pretty well of the bat so you should do o.k...

I've seen litters from 1 - 6 babies with various northern pacifics. I find that getting them (babies) to take pinkies right off is a bit tricky although babies from Washington seem to be much better about taking pinks right off the bat.
