how big of a mouse/rat can a snake eat? ive read 2-3 times the size of the largest part of their body. is this true? also, how often should i feed him to make him grow fairly quickly without getting obese? he is between 35-40" as i could not get an exact measurement because hes a wiggler.

and... lol sorry. i turn to these forums for all my questions! you guys and girls always pull through! anyway, how big of an enclosure should he be in if i want him to grow to be 5-6' (feet)? he is in a 29 gallon tank now that measures 30" long, 12" deep and 17" high. will this do? i heard the size of a tank can often affect their growth.

thanks in advance!

You may want to try the snake forums... And I would include the species of snake your feeding in your next post.
