That's a big girl. I'm not calling her fat just big boned.
Nice looking colors on her too.

How long is that girl Jim? I have a 300 gramer that is just over 30 inches long. She is a big one that makes the rest I have look very small!

Jenea, how old is your 300g female? My male that you say acts like your females is 45 grams, and in his second year.

(Bought him as a male, AFAIK he is, he came from a reliable dealer, but he bites because he is hoping he can somehow eat me- is _constantly_ hungry, even a couple days after he's been fed, and does a lot of climbing and nosing around the lid of his viv)

My male that is a little over a year old and a picky eater is 110g. If Zee is 45g and 2 years old then he really needs some weight on him. I would feed him more, not necessarily bigger, but more.

I don't know his hatch date. He was sold to me as a "yearling plus" in November. No way to know.
I gave him two fuzzies tonight, each just slightly less than his diameter. After the first, he had a big bulge, and I was doubting myself, but after the second he didn't look that much bigger... He's so funny, he had to carefully press his jaw against the floor to realign it before going off to get the second fuzzy. It's only the second time ever I've given him two prey items.
He's gaining weight nicely, though. I think he was 30ish when I got him in November, and he's 45 now.
I'm wondering if he'd do better on a five day, single fuzzy schedule. I _know_ he'd be happier, even though he is technically an adult.
Sorry for hijacking the thread, Jim.

He seems small for his age to me. A 5 day schedule would probably not hurt, and might solve a lot of the biting issues.

no problem on the thred. and I would feed him 2 to 3 fuzzies every 4 to 5 days if he will eat them.
