I read in a post a few down that when they are constipated, about 2/3 the way down thier body feels like a water ballon. I took a coulpe of my babys out for a photo shoot and i noticed that one of my little females looked a bit "blown up". when i felt that part of her body, it felt like it was full of air. not water-like or heavy, just like as if her skin was a balloon. Does this still point to constipation or maybe something else? She doesnt seem lethargic and she ate 2 fuzzy rats 8 days ago. The bummber is i dont know when she last deficated because she is housed with other boas. this will be changing very soon, new cages are on thier way. if it is constipation, whats the cure? any help you guys can give me would be greatly appreciated! One way to find out is soak it in some warm water (not hot) just warmer then ambient. If it defricates then it was consitpated, it might fix the swelling

What you are describing seems to be what I am talking about below. In addition to the soaking, you might try massaging the area near the vent. If you feel a really hard mass, and the snake doesn't use the bathroom with the soaking, you might should see a vet.
I took her out tonight to soak her and she was looking better already. Maybe not quite 100% so i soaked her anyway. No defication but she may have done so on her own. Thanks guys. she gave me a little scare.
