Silkworms

nboles1215 Jan 31, 2007 11:26 AM

I have a 10" BD. I just got my first shipment of silkworms in today. My question is what would be a good quantity to feed him during one feeding. The silkworms are Med. size

Thanks

About 5 at most should be sufficient. Do you feed crix or any other insects? Also they should eat about 70% veggies 30% insects!

a 10" Dragon is still a juvenile and should still eat about 70-80% live food. Silkworms grow very quickly and one persons mediums is anothers small. If there like an inch long maybe 8 or so. But by next week they'll be 2" . I'd feed my sub-adult (16" 3-4 about 2" worms twice a day if she weren't brumating.
