T-Rex heating elements

The ones that are used in a regular light bulb socket not the pads.

Aahh yes, I was told about those recently. Looks like a great solution for having a ceramic heater in a cage w/o worry about touching the element. Haven't tried one yet. The description does say that it is quite powerful, so definitely use a controller.

If you get one, please post some details.

I just ordered six of them along with a Herpstate ND thermostat. I am hoping for some good results and controlled day and night temperatures.
