loss of appetite

dabean Aug 10, 2003 06:55 PM

My dragon is 8 months old and the last few weeks his appetite has been real finicky. He used to eat twice a day and ate alot and now eats only once or might not even be hungry. He gets both crickets and greens for his meals. Is this a concern.

It's a concern if he starts losing weight.
If you haven't had a fecal exam done lately, you might want to.
Reptiles tend to try very hard not to appear ill until they are VERY ill. It's instincual. Only the strong survive..weaklings become prey. So, they hide it as long as they can.
