Jungle Carpets

pkossak Feb 01, 2007 12:43 PM

Since I left for college and had to get rid of most of my collection, I've been out of the loop a bit. Was wondering who is breeding top notch JCP's these days? I know it's often a matter of opinion, but I'm looking for bright yellow on jet black with minimal fading as adults. Thanks for any help.

In my opinion, Andrew Hare has assembled the best overall jungle collection in the U.S. His website is www.reptilesbyah.com

Some other places with top-notch jungles:
www.selectiveorigins.com
www.reptilicusreptiles.com
www.australianaddiction.com
www.headhunterreptiles.com

Here's a female I own that Andrew produced in 2005.

Gee...thanks Jake...lol

We should have some 'OK' Jungles this year...

Seriously though, there are tons of great jungle breeders out there....

Sorry Ben. I just listed the people who immediately came to mind as having superior jungles. Now that I look at it, though, I pretty much just listed people who have banners on MP. I guess I'm pretty easily swayed with advertising. Maybe you should get a banner? lol

I've seen Andrew's collection personally many times, and I really do feel that it has to be the best in the U.S. (maybe the world?) for jungles. Of course, second would be me. lol Seriously, though, if that pair does produce for you this year, it will move you high into the upper echelons of jungledom.

Jake, I am totally yankin' your chain....no worries what so ever...
And don't think I am comparing my Jungles to some of those neccesarily....

And yeah...tell me about it...we have a website in the works...it has been for over a year...Many times I have thought about just throwing up a quickie banner, but where would it link too? lol

Sad thing is, there isn't that much the website either, we are just busy as can be.

You would think as much as I run my mouth, I could harness all this jawin' and just put out a darn website...lol

Ben, those are two "A " JCPs and I agree are top line...are they siblings? Are they a breeding pair? I have enjoyed your snakes/posts on MP and do hope you get a website.

BenTeam Feb 10, 2007 04:48 PM

Yeah, if I could shut my mouth for 2 seconds, I would probably have time to get a website up...
They are not siblings, I tried to pair them last year without success, but this year is looking a lot better!
Thanks for the kind words!
