hey Matt , those look like western babies.? not the mutleys that i have seen?
Yea, these are very different than the "Mutley" babies that I have seen. I am very happy the way these turned out.
One thing I think is so interesting is how much these look like 100% Easterns to me. BTW, I did the breeding, so I do know these are 50/50, just in case anyone wasn't aware. Anyone remember all the debates regarding the natural mixing of floridana and easterns? It's interesting how this mix looks. I love the wide, even bands and slightly random pattering in some spots. Both have some nice speckles by their heads. It will be interesting to see what these look like as they get older.

i am still reading todays post below ,are you sure it aint a Goini (just kidding)Laugh please im only joking, you animals, origin still looks west of the Mississippi
but looks are deceiving
great looking babies. doing some hybrids?
Well, I guess I didn't have any set plans for any breeds, but they're the only pair of kings that I have. Both were acquired to be "pets," but they're both outstanding individuals so I thought I would breed them. I gave the ones that fed to friends and sold 2 to a local reptile shop under the condition they would market and sell them with a care sheet I provided that had all the info about the parents.
