Patternless vs. leucistic

is there a difference at all? i thought there was but from what i was told they are the same thing as far as leos go.

That is correct, they are the same thing. When the patternless originally came out in the early 90s they were sold improperly as Leucistics. Then a few years later the Blizzards appeared which look more like a Leucistic animal, the name was then accuratly changed to Patternless. You may see someone still refer to Patternless as Leucistics now & then.
