Anaconda Breeders?

dpreston Feb 02, 2007 04:06 AM

I have a decent amount of experience with retics, colombian red-tails, balls, burms and the like. I'm looking into getting my first Anaconda. I'm looking for a great specimen, so here I am asking, who'd be the best to go to I live in the US, price isn't an issue. I just want a tame, captive bred, EATING conda.

I got one a little under a year ago. I got a male. He is awesome. Kelly makes sure they are eating before they are shipped. My little guy is a pig and is docile. I would say very well priced as well. Plus you do not have to put up with the problems of imports.
Not only that but Kelly is on the forum all the time. He answers questions and does not just sell it to you and then send you on your own. In snakes I want to get into these are the things I looked for and Kelly is all of the above.
Sorry for the ramble is just nice to have great breeders who care.

Any idea how I can get in contact with Kelly?

Sarge2004 Feb 03, 2007 09:44 AM

Kelly Haller and his partner Jud McClanahan are the green anaconda top breeders. They are real gentlemen to deal with, helpful, and I can't say enough about them. I have a pair of their green anacondas and they are the most docile snakes I have ever encounterd. Both are solid F/T rodent eaters from the start and never refuse a meal. Litter after litter of these special anacondas result in super tame and readily eating babys. That tells you a lot right there. Contact Kelly from one of his posts here through the email feature. If that does not work I will give you more contact info. Bill.
