white stringy poops

axelkid Aug 10, 2003 08:10 PM

Hi,

I have a brazilian yellowhead which I just recently transported between home and school. It did not seem to take the move too well and I noticed a subtle change in its behavior. It seems to be a bit more skittish, jumping around crazily when I approach it to feed. But it does not hide. And it still has a good appetite. Now it is about 5 days later and I'm noticing that the frog is having white stringy poops. Is this a cause for concern?

Thanks,

Ken

I would say that perhaps there could be an underlying cause. You may consider taking a stool sample to your vet so they can do a smear.
