yes i know this is a cornsnake forum,however im have trouble finding one picture despite all the helpfull hints.anybody here got a pic of a corn black rat snake mix? do they turn black?

Even "pure" black rat snakes don't always turn black. Dilluting a black rat with a corn snake gene would take you further away from getting a black snake.

Well,....you might find some once in a while, or you might get some to breed(although doubtful), but if you did, all you will come up with is some very "uglyish" looking offspring. They will look like very "muddied" cornsnakes, not worth the while in my opinion. I'm pretty opposed to the latest craze of crossing anything that's available anyway.........................Doug
