Not to many snakes actually cooperate like this. I just straightened her out and she just hung out like that for a while.

She just shed so I snapped a couple pics. I picked up a pair of these in July from a guy named Russ Pascatore. He's got a pair of 8 foot beauties. What's funny is that when I first got them as hatchlings I was kind of disapointed. I posted on here asking about color changes etc. al. People were like, relax and see what happens. Well I can say this, ugly muddy babies can sure get white fast. Thanks Russ if your out there.

Yeah, northerns usually color up quite nicely as they age. You can never really tell as babies what they will look like.
I love your northern! Gorgeous animal!

I guess this is the correct DonV. I reply to your other post with the message below. How do I post photos on here anyway?

Hello Don. I think you got those from me. They look great. The parents are the calmest snakes I have. Years ago when I had babies to sell I would bring the perents to the All Ohio Rept. Show and they would sit(except when being handled by many people) in a 6" high rubbermaid tub with their head resting on the top edge and watch people go by for six hours without trying to take off. Very cool snakes. Let me know if I have the correct Don V.

That's an OPEN 6"rubbermaid tub I'm talking about..

Thanks again. I really like these. Their temperments are unbelievable and they're just not in any kind of hurry when you handle them. Like you said above in the post with the adult female, its like they are not concerned with getting away.

Glad you are happy with them. They always amazed me with their calm.
Anyone know if all northerns are like that or is that a genetic trait?

Dang! She's gonna be a MONSTER!!!
