I traded some common colombian boas for a pair of 8 month old Redfoots about 8 years ago. I was puzzled as they grew older because one was hard for me to sex accurately. After posting pics of it's plastron here I was satisfied with many of the forum users opinion that in fact it looked to be a male.
WELL! In December the TWO FEMALES to my surprize laid simultaneous clutches for the first time at the same time.
Good stuff - never do I expect to see this again.
