In this litter of 45, one died, and there are 12 females, and 32 males. There were 6 infertile. Just wanted to see what you guys think of the numbers on the sexes. Sharon

thats a realy male heavy litter , most of the litters i have had have generally been either near equal or more normally female heavy
Thats a LOT of babies, and a LOT of males..... very odd. Dont know of any explanation besides luck?
Just out of curiousity, could we have some details about the mother? thats a very big litter.
Got her from Jeremy Stone....here is his email:
Hi Sharon,
WOW, That is soo GREAT to hear. Those hets were from SALLY. One of the best females I have ever owned, and she gave me my largest litter I have ever had. 53. So I can see that her kids are doing well. That is GREAT to see. She really did come through for you, and MAJOR Congrats. That is awesome. I hope things are going well for you. Thanks for the update. Take Care, Jeremy

My last litter of 17 gave me 14.3...
I was upset b/c I really wanted to keep some girls from this litter...At least I got a female ghost 100%het albino...
Good luck with those....

Thanks, and those are some very nice babies as well.
CONGRATS SHARON,
That is Awesome. The Grandmother of those hets gave me my largest litter of 53 and 6 slugs. She bred 6 years in a ROW. First litter in the high 20's, second 53, 49, 47, 39, and SLUGS. I Knew I should not have bred her that 6th year, but she had big follicles again. She was an amazing animal. A great producer. Ironically, I bought her as a HET in 1997, and she proved out NOT to be a het. She was an INCREDIBLE producer, and one of my favorite snakes. A couple of her babies have also produced good litters this year, and I have one that looks like she may beat the my record. I HOPE!!!! Great to see you off to a good start. I hope you have a great year. Take Care, Jeremy Stone
