Hey gang. I just have a few questions and was curious as to what everyones opinion is.
Currently I have both a Pacman (Ceratophrys cranwelli) and an African Bullfrog (Pyxicephalus adspersus).
I have had the bullfrog for about 3 months, and he is growing like crazy (hopefully a male), and his appetite is awesome.
Then I have my Pacman. Ive had him for aboutt 5 months, and he’s great too, but I have a few concerns. Lately he’s been underground almost constantly. He barely ever eats, but he still retains his/her size. I’m talkin 3 weeks at a time he wont eat, but he’s healthy and seemingly happy.
The temperature is great, high 70’s with a lamp. Not to mention my apt is heated.
So basically, is this normal for Pacman frogs? I was told they get spells like this occassionally, but seeing how voracious my pyxie is got me kinda worried...and frankly, bored.
Though I love the fat little bugger, I was curious if maybe I should trade him for like 25 or 30 dollars credit at my rep-shop and get one of their pyxie froglets. Would that be too redundant, and should I stick to one fo each species, or...
