I asked this a couple of weeks ago and thought I'd ask again just in case it got lost and someone might answer this one.

I have heard some wood is unsafe to put in the turtle tank. I'm not very happy w/ my basking site and would like to change it using wood or bark (w/out buying expensive pieces from the petstore).

Does anyone have a list of what wood or bark is safe and what isn't. Whether I can buy it from a home improvement store or find it outside naturally?
