Tortoise breeders

Hello! Just wondering if anyone knew of any good tortoise breeders in PA or NJ? I am mostly interested in Redfoots and Cherry heads. If not, does any one know of reputable breeders that ship? I own two redfoots now but have never had a tortoise shipped to me (only snakes) how do they package them? Thanks a lot in advance!

Well I just received a leopard tortoise from www.turtlesale.com. It came second day air half frozen. The box was not marked live animals and was kept in the back of a UPS truck. The reason it wasn't marked live animals is because UPS is not allowed to ship live animals. To make a long story short it got a respiratory infection that required antibiotics. Would not recommend them because you live in a cold area as well. I do order a lot of supplies from LLLreptile and am very pleased. I originally placed an order from them but they e-mailed to say they didn't have hatchlings. They did have slightly larger ones. I should have went with them.

Have you checked out Turtletary.com? He breeds beautiful redfoots and is really good to deal with. I have ordered 6 from him!
