Crocodile Geckos..

AndrewFromSoCal Feb 04, 2007 05:35 PM

Does anyone have any? I have an extra 10g, and was wondering if I could keep one or two in there. I saw a few at the pet store, and I thought they looked pretty cool.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, I have one. They are really neat and live a long time. Mine is a female. Mine doesn't seem to hibernate eventhough I provided no heat lamp and seem to be eating still even without higher temperature. These are hardy gecko.

What kind of set-up do you have it in? Do you have any pictures?

I have her in one of those very large critterkeeper with papertowel as substrate. I provide with some rocks to hide in and that's it; no heat...no lighting. I was hoping mine would brumate this winter, but it seems to be eating eventhough I do not provide any supplemental heat. I guess it doesn't get cold enough with the heat from the other reptiles cage warming up the room.
