Couple Questions

Retep Aug 10, 2003 09:52 PM

Hi all, I just have a couple questions about retics, and if you could help, that'd be awsome.

K, first. What is the average size for a male, not the max, but typical size. It'd be great if anyone had a pic of an average adult male to give me a size ref.

And how nasty are they? I've heard bad things about them, but also some very good things. And I simply love normals, they're awsome. I might go with a jamp, dunno yet.

Thanks to anyone who can help. I appreciate it.

I have also heard retics can be aggressive, BUT I just got a 5 month old that has been handled about 4 times a week. I have been holding her daily after she was accustomed to her cage. She is tame as ever. She has snapped at me once but it wasn't her fault.

I am thinking the average size for a male is near ~12-16 ft. don't quote me on that.

I have a male retic that is now around 13-14 ft and close to 50 pounds. I have heard that the average size for an adult male is anywhere between 9-16 ft. Now that doesn't seem to help. But I would expect a male to reach at least 12 ft. I don't have any recent pictures to post, sorry. The picture I've included is from Al and Cindy Baldogo's website. This is a male tiger retic.
