Is this off to anyone else?

My BCI Columbian boa has had this issue for about two months now, and I can't help but let it worry me. He makes a clicking noise, it looks like his 'throat' or just before his mouth is puffing out and the clicking noise will then be heard. I feared that it was an RI, so I took him to the vet (two months ago), my vet told me that other than the clicking, he seems to be fine, and there is no reason to worry, unless he stops eating. Well he eats well every time I feed him, but the clicking is still there, and I've had the heat up higher in the cage and the humidity down for almost this entire time, hoping if it was an RI to get rid of it.

Does anyone have any ideas??

First thing would be to get a Herp Vet that understand the difference between an upper/lower RI in a snake!

Then treat it properly.

He has no bubbles or anything coming out of his mouth or nose, do you think it still could be this? There does not seem to be too many herp vets in Mi. that really want to help people. The guy I went to ragged on me for even owning a snake, and he's supposively a good herp vet.

I don't know. The two that I have been to just seem to want to push you out of their office as quick as possible and don't care at all about animal they are dealing with.

That state as a whole is pretty screwed up !
Are you close to a Zoo ?Contact them and see if they can refer you to someone worth going to for your snakes needs. sounds like the one you tried needs to stick to popping parvo shots and doing fecals on poodles name Fido ?
