On February 3rd, 2007, Cocoa, the 9 month old normal bull snake passed away at about 1 in the morning. The cause of the death os unknown at the moment. She will be missed a lot. To me she was almost part of the family. I enjoyed everyday I had with her and she will not be forgotten. Her life may have seemed short, but she still lives here in my heart. Never has there been a dull moment with her. As my collection of snakes grow, I will remember Cocoa and how much she enjoyed the days she had.

Sorry to hear about your loss. People always look at you kind of funny when you look sad about loosing a snake, but to us they are just like somebody's cat or dog. We grow quite attached to these animals and a loss hits us quite hard. Hang in there.

I'm sorry to hear that Emily. I know how you're feeling. I just lost two of my Thayeri babies from last year that never ate on their own. It's even tougher in your case because of not knowing what happened to her. The best thing to do is bring on Cocoa 2. I'm sure she would be just as much fun. Pits have such great personalities. Take care.

I am so sorry Emily, and I can relate to the bitter sting of losing a loved pet.
