Introducing the Matrix Blood Python...

dave barker Aug 10, 2003 10:04 PM

Visit our Gallery to learn more about this beautiful new co-dominant appearance. The Matrix is the appearance of a het-ivory blood python.

It's become apparent to us that the Ivory trait is a co-dominant trait and one can identify the hets. Maybe you already have a Matrix?

They do look pretty different from normals, the red/brown on the top seems to be reduced. Very nice snakes and a cool name for them!

Not only is it the most spectacular blood python morph (IMO) but the hets are visible as well! :D

Congrats Dave and Tracy!

I am not sure I understand which snake is co-dominant. Is the matrix the co-dominant and the ivory the super(dominant form) or is the ivory the co-dominant and the matrix a het in which case this is different from the other co-dominant morphs. Do ivory x normals give all matrix babies?

No offense but it looks like a normal to me.
