New pic of me and my 4' B&W

Rollin Aug 10, 2003 10:05 PM

Taz is a little over 4' long here. You can see he's half way threw a shed by the clear patch of scales above my bottom wrist.

Jazz is cute!
Is it just the 4 of you over there or is there another tegu under the sink

PS: Have you ever thought about getting a red?

Well I admit there might be a few bearded dragons running around here too. I'm not really interested in getting a red but I still want to purchase and/or breed one of the more obscure large tegu species if you know of anyone selling.

Thanks Rollin!~ I really think we should all post pics of ourselves and our animals. I talk to you all like I know you anyway. It would be nice to have faces to put with names. I'm working on mine now. It's hard to get my animals to "pose" let alone be still long enough to take a picture with me. Hee, hee.

Thanks! Everything went well at the wedding. I'm glad it's over and that it went the way it did. We've got nothing but good memories and pictures from it. We didn't get to bring the tegus with on the honeymoon but you really shouldn't bring the kids with anyways. When we got back we realized we didn't have any good pictures of either of us with Taz after he's all grown up. Besides Roxy needed a picture for the bulletin board at the place she works. I'll bet the big ol lizard on her shoulder will surprise a few passer bys.

Great family pics. The kids have gotten so big!

Congrats to you & Tuataras! Too bad about leaving the kids at home. Imagine the bewilderment of the guests as your ring bearer and flower lizard, Taz & Jazz, came running down the aisle.

Rollin Aug 13, 2003 09:28 AM

Thanks Ripley. I'm really impressed you know my wife is Tuataras! She doesn’t post around here much, but she's just as much into tegus as I am. That's how I knew she was the one! Sigh but the tegus are all grown up already next thing they'll be staying out late and making babies. I really was going to bring Taz with on the honeymoon with a hide box but the resort didn't allow pets. When I got back I found out the poor things didn't poop for 4 days waiting for us to take them outside!
