How big should the female be?

How big does a female have to be to breed? Also, how often should you feed her in order to fatten her up?

General consensus is 1500 gr. BUT most big breeders will breed their 1200 gr. females to recoup investment.

Females should be fed as much as they are willing to eat prior to cool down, without the sufficient weight, follicular development might not happen.
