Hi. Are there any bewani doreanus left in the country and do they do well in captivity? Any pics. Thanks.
PS. Jobi, do you breed your peachthroats or know where I might be able to get some good babies from? Thanks again. Tyler

Theirs only one pair of bewani doreanus in the world that I know about, and I sold it to Justin. Eventually he will put them in the classifieds?
I do not breed varanids and will never again offer them to keepers. Nor will I ever offer any other reptiles.
Theirs no such thing as bewani jobiensis.
No jobi!
There will never, never be any of my Bewani trio in classifieds.
Justin
could we see pics? thanks.
I can't take any good pics of my animals, ,and i dount think the problem is my camera....Haahaha!. The merite for this pic should go to Steeve, he's the one who snap it.

You may not find any Bewani doreanus, however you may be able to tract these Weigeo jobi’s. They only show awesome colors at breeding season, however they display the most beautiful coloration then. Also they have the smoothes temper of all jobiensis morph, in fact these allow handling pretty well compared to most jobiensis.
However as sorong jobiensis they get pretty large 5 feet for males and 4 foot females are common.

Do you know where I might be able to find some silver spot jobiensis? If it is against the rules of the forum to say where you can email me,jpm59tba@aol.com Thanks and great monitor! Tyler.
Yes I saw one in the classifieds from prehistoripets.com today.
It’s probably Batanta in origin but to me they are the same anyway.
Looks like a female to me?
What locality and sex do you think mine is? Thanks again.

Typical western Irian jaya (Sorong)
Not sure about sex, looks like male?
You will know soon enough as this specie shows obvious bulges at young age.
