gators and turtles

hi.. I have a pair of 1.5 ft long gators in a 7 x 2 x 1 ft aquarium...with some fish.. I was wondering wich kind of turtles would be ok to buy to live with them...

Housing gators and turtles can be tricky. At the size of your gator they are not going to be much of a threat to your turtles, but the turtles may nip at the gators toes and tail. I have housed many aquatic turtles with my gator with success over the years. I would suggest painted turtles. I would also suggest you wait until you put the gators in large pool or pond. The 7x2x1 is big but in a couple of months your gators will be big to turn in it. And in a bigger enclosure you can have 2 basking areas, and space for the gators and turtles to get away from each other. But always be ready to seperate them and have a plan B home for the turtles if it doesnt work out.
