Storm front...breeding activity is up

rainbowsrus Feb 07, 2007 11:05 AM

Here in CA we've had an abnormally dry season. Today there is a storm front moving in. Looks like a good one with a week of expected rains.

Last night spotted Fred and Wilma copulating.
Fred and Wilma are two of the trio I bought from Howard Leong. Fred is Daiseys dad for sure and I think Wilma maybe her mom as well. Betty, the other femmale is a high red and Daisey is all about the orange.

Also spotted last night, Savannah and Lefty cruising pipes and ending up in the same cage. No copluation witnessed but that is one pairing I really want to happen.

Hope to see a lot of activity over the next week.

Somebody pinch me, I am so excited about yesterdays events.

Congrats on the activity wih Fred and Wilma and may they spread enough orange to go around. I was wondering how Sav. and Lefty were doing? If they are taking requests, I would like a really really red one like Phoenix if she don't mind and if Lefty could throw some crescents on there for me I would appreciate a lot haha. Good luck with them and I was wondering who was the third party with Lefty and Savannah?

Thanks Bob, Yeah, I really think Fred and Wilma are Daiseys parents, how cool to have a litter of little daiseys squirming around. Daisey was a holdback that Howard eventually decided to sell so she's quite likely the high end of the spectrum. Still, I would expecgt the whole spectrum to be above average.

That's the plan with Savannah, her Red and Lefty's crescents. I have them in with Petunia, my largest/oldest female. Could be a very exciting year?

I forgot to mention that I thought I saw M5's picture in your collection awhile back but maybe not. He seems to have fathered a few of your keepers so I was wondering where he was? I bet Genevieve is really looking good right now in that night coat and how was handling Eve-your first wild caught boa btw?

For some reason I just can't seem to get the "lefty" to stick and I identify him by his original M5.

I'll post some info on Eve and the litter in a seperate thread for anyone else who cares to read.
