Hi,
I've kept reptiles all my life and just recently started purchasing desired morphs/traits for breeding purposes, but i hear often that it is best to import large quantities of animals from the wild in hopes of obtaining desired morphs and traits (in boasastels, motleys, hypos ect.) But I am unable to find information on this process.

I believe that i first need a CITES permit to import(correct?), but have no idea of how to export these animals from their native countries. I don't know how the whole exportation process works... are there pivate buisness that can export quantities of columbian boas to america? Any reccomendations?

If there is anyone knowledgable on this subject and has imported columbian boas themselves it would be very much appreciated if you were willing to share your experiences about how the whole process works, costs, what types of morphs or desired traits you have obtained through this process.

I really want to cement my future into breeding reptiles but it seems that the only way to do this is by having somewhat large quantities of different varieties of animals, which would proboly be too expensive purchasing from breeders in the U.S. Any information would be appreciated.
thanks
