Crotaphytus journals

crotaphytusfan Feb 08, 2007 12:10 AM

So I'm looking for a scientific journal written on collared lizards and I mean this thing is the most in depth publication on these lizards I have ever had the pleasure of reading, I think it's called "The Taxonomy and Systematics of Crotaphytid Lizards" with a nice big C. dickersonae on the cover. I found it at the University of Utah library and tried to have Amazon locate it for me to no avail, if anyone knows where I could find it that would be wonderful. Thanks in advance.

Hey I googled it (yeah I know me and everybody else, ha!) and any chance it's Crotaphytidae, not Crotaphytid? Google keeps tryin to correct me. Anywho, how long ago did you find it at the UU library? If you're able to check it out and copy it that'd be cool, but otherwise, I may be able to log into my library at UM and see if I can get an interlibrary loan and copy it... as long as I've got the name right!

btw, any idea who wrote/ published it?

Me again, I found this at UMiami library:

Phylogenetic systematics of crotaphytid lizards (Reptilia:Iguania:Crotaphytidae) / Jimmy A. McGuire

Sound similar? Problem is I think it's a book, not a journal...

Anyway let me know, I have to wait for justin to sign me into the library to search journals since I've graduated and all the money I paid to be there only applies to the time I'm enrolled apparently, ha. Uhg. Red tape.

That's the one I knew it was out there somewhere else. It is more like a book but the way ti was written was very much like a journal. Thank you for the idea to copy it I never thought of that but an actual hard copy is really what I wanted, but the copy thing might have to do for now. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Let me know if you can't track down a copy of it, I can get justin to check it out for me and get all the publishers info out of it and figure if it's worth it to photocopy or look for a hard copy.

On the other hand, if it's that thorough I better check it out anyway! Ha!
