sexing amazons

I bought an adult amazon tree boa a month ago. Is there an easy way to sex them? I don't have pictures, but if you could post pics of males compared to females, I'd appriciate it. Thanks!

If it's over about 4 feet, you should be able to visually sex it fairly easily. Males have relatively big, hooked spurs with what looks like a little muscle right at the base of the spur. Females have spurs too, but they are usually small, without a very pronounced hook and tucked up tightly against the body. If they are under 4 feet, you probably need to probe them as males can look very female-ish.

Thanks, I think that mine's a female, because until yesterday, I didn't notice that she even had spurs. She's about 5'.
