What kind a Boa is this?(Lots of pics)

snakesnmore Feb 08, 2007 05:44 PM

I just rescued this boa and it sure does'nt look like a normal BCI. Could you help me identify the color. I tried to get some good pics, but couldn't get the colors all that good. She/he is very pink on the sides and very light. I want to say it's a salmon, but maybe wrong. Please help. This is my first Boa. I currently have a JCP, 4 BP's, 2 tri hognose and rainbow boa.

Just because it's a normal doesn't mean it isn't a beauty. Looks like a low end pastel (which is a type of a normal) or a real nice colorful normal Colombian BCI. Very beautiful animal indeed. I would get that nose looked at by the vet though, looks pretty nasty.

Good rescue!

The more I'm reading on them the more I'm leaning towards a normal. I just rescued her/him this afternoon so I'll be taking her/him to the vet tomorrow. Thanks for your input.
