I'm having a strange problem with my 4 year old. As you can see in this pic, his scales are individually shedding. This has been going on for about a week or so, and I'm not sure what this is.
I just recently moved him into a new enclosure that I built, and the humidity is holding at 70%, daytime temps on the basking side are 90°-92°F, and the cool side is 82°-84°F. And the substrate is cypress. His old enclosure the temps were a little cooler, and the humidity was 50-60%. I used newspaper as a substrate.
He's eating fine, a med rat once a week, and he is very well mannered. This scale thing doesnt seem to be bothering him, so I guess it's just me that is worried about it.
Any ideas?
