OK, forums is slow...time for a quiz....

OK, the forum is slow again so let's have another quiz.

Please don't post your answer in the topic line so others can play as well.

Here are two snakes from Mexico. One should be easy, one hard.

This is the easy one. From just north of Cabo San Lucas, Baja California del Sur.

Here's the one that might be tougher. It was found in high pine forest (~9000ft) in central Chiapas (southern Mexico).

Chris,
Really interesting looking snakes. I've no clue as to what they are but am anxiously waiting for some answers. The second animal is a beautiful creature. When I look at it I almost want to say it is a legless lizard of some kind.

The first snake is Thamnophis validus from Baja.
The second snake is Adelphicos nigrilatus from Chiapas.
