Seen on Nature last night...

Boost Feb 09, 2007 10:01 AM

They had televised I think a 3 or 4 episode on Amphibians/Reptiles on PBS over the last week. Last night's episode involved Reptiles/Lizards with a full hour of Lizard Goodness, even an introduction to Henry Lizard Lover. Yes Henry had his last name changed to "Lizard Lover" he had about 37 lizards in his house, Iguanas were his favourite. Though our Collared friends were mentioned twice, once as Mountain Boomers in New Mexico and then a predation video of a beatiful Yellow/Gold Collared. The Collared and his victim were doing the typical Clint Eastwood Spaghetti Western movies with the staredown, the Collared then pounced down from his perch and got his lunch, this part was filmed in Baja.

So it's good to see our Collared's get some face time but they still need more exposure, a book and an episode on Animal Planet.

Yeah, let's write Jeff Corwin. I love that guy. Maybe he can go hunt some collareds for a show.... that'd be awesome!

Great idea, thought they haven't done a new show in about a year or so.

So, funny story... I get home later, possibly the same day I saw this thread, and Justin says "Oh I got this lizard and snakes documentary from Amazon for real cheap! Some Henry Lizardlover guy is in it, I dunno..."
HA!! So we watched it... and did you get the vibe that this Henry guy was a little weird...? Not for his love of lizards, oh no... just a WEIRD person in general... hehehe!
