Pictures of the new corn

dakski Feb 09, 2007 01:15 PM

After looking at him a little more and looking at some pictures online. I think he is actually either a Hypo or an Okotee - but I am not an expert by any means. Any thoughts would be greatly apprecaited.

The poor guy had been freezing. He spent the night on the heat pad and this morning I got a BIG present. It's pictured below. It looks a little weird to me, but I have never had an adult corn - my lavender is an 06. I imagine since he ate over a week ago and was dehyrdated and cold - it's probably nothing to worry about. Again, any thoughts are welcomed.

David

Here's the tank.

Here's the poop.

Yes,....like she said,...that is indeed a "hypo", in fact , you're basically correct on both counts!!LOL, if it normally had deep dark borders on the blotches, it could also be considered an "Okeetee" corn by the "look", but not necessarily from locality lineage!...that's a nice one!!....oh, I assume you keep those clips on that lid snuggly fit, as they can be notorious for being ill-fitted!....the last thing you want is for that great looking snake that has already had it VERY TOUGH, go on to escape,...simply put, that would REALLY suck!!LOL.......again, great looking hypo, good luck with him!!,...............Doug

They are excellent clips! You could practically life the whole tank by the top with them on. Thank you for your concern though - it's definately a good point.

What do most people use to keep their lids on? I have those from back in the day but don't remember where I got them.

Thanks

David

glad the clips fit good on your tank, they fit MUCH better on some tanks than others, depending on the brand of tank(lip)...again,.that is a super nice hypo, I must say!!.....Doug

that "poop" is disgusting.

i have been told MINE is an okeetee.
