Just day dreaming while I should be working and thought, "Hey, could a Caramel Albino bred to an Axanthic lead to a new Snow?" Is my thinking off or has it been tried?

that you would get something closer in appearance to a true ghost but I'm just guessing here.

"yeah, eagles have feathers hanging off of them too and I don't smoke --- out of them!" PS it was a dream catcher!
I have seen that term before. What is a "True Ghost"?
Other than Casper of course.

True Ghost is a morph that does not yet exist. It is what is expected if anyone ever produces a double homozygous Axanthic Hypo, Hypo being the same as what we call a Ghost ball. I think that Axanthic X Caramel would be similar to Axanthic X Hypo because Caramel and Hypo are very similar in appearance.

I know that Snake Keeper's are working on that project. I believe they're currently raising up some Double hets. Should be interesting.

I breed double hets last year and only produced 2 good eggs. Both hatched and I didn't even get a visable and they are both males. Will try again this year.
Good luck Marshall!
To me this is one of the most exciting projects around. I've always loved the look of a really nice ghost corn snake with the faint gray pattern and imagine this combination in ball pythons might look similar. I'm starting to wonder if there might be some linkage complicating the True Ghost ball project but with caramel being even lighter this might be better anyway.
