problem with breeding

So I introduced my male to my female a week back and there has been no action at all.They are usually at opposite ends of the cage,unless they are together under the heat lamp.Is there any suggestions I should try like...take out the male for a little and re introduced,do some feeding..anything I should try?I did the cooling,then raised the temps ad through in the male...

Please help me out!
