Just wondering. I've heard that Crested are a somewhat "social" gecko, and can be kept in pairs. Would two males of the same size be ok to keep together?

Ah, no. In fact, I have heard many stories that crested gecko females aren't all that happy to be housed together either. More than one female can be done, but it seems that finding the right personality mix may be a bit harder than your average reptile. All males should be separated as soon as you can determine sex as they will fight to injury or death. This is almost universal for most herps. Hope this helps.

To add to this, I put 2 of my sub adult females together, one is slightly smaller than the other. The little one started being bullied for food and whatnot (though they had plenty; they're just dorks) so I had to separate them out. It works better if the geckos you house together are around the same age/size. And plenty of hiding spaces is a MUST if you are housing more than one (lots of foliage, maybe a couple pieces of cork/brk leaning against the sides of the viv, rock hides, etc.)
