what iis a good calcium to use? also what thermostats and UTH do you guys use and where could i get a good thermostat? thankyou

As far as calcium, I've always used Rep-Cal.
For thermostats it depends on how much you want to spend. ESU & Alife have pretty good on/off thermostats. There pretty much the same thing, the different manufactures just put a different sticker on them. You can find them for between $30.00 & $50.00. I find these pretty reliable, but I'd advise you to still use a thermometer because they can be off by a few degrees so you would need to adjust accordinly. If you want to go top of the line with a proportional thermostat then I would reccomend Helix. They start out at $135.00.
For UTH I would go with T-Rex's Cobra or Ultratherm's heat pads. Between the two I prefer Ultratherm's simply because of the wide selection of sizes. Both are good & don't have to be stuck to the tank.
