They are really beautiful and seem unusual. Excuse my ignorance - I'm just starting out with kings - but what are PB, sulphur and BHB? I know a little about corn morphs because I've read up a lot on them, but not really about kings. I have a hi white cali female and a goini/brooksi hybrid male. Do you know of any good books or websites on king morphs? - I've found a bit, but nothing too detailed.

Also how did you put three pictures on a post? I have some pictures saved in the photo gallery but holding down control while clicking on them doesn't seem to work - I can only insert one in one post.

Do you have breeding plans with these lovely animals?

Sulphur I a natural occurring phenotype that is extremely yellow (hence the name sulphur)

B.H.B is my abbreviation for BHB line Axanthic Brooksi which appear more Anery than Axanthic.

the snake in question is a result of a Lavender Amel Sulphur (T positive) bred to a BHB line Axanthic both snakes being het for the others trait.

PB is my abbreviation for a mutation labeled Peanut Butter because of the coloration... it's my theory that this is another form of hypomelanism which is allelic to the T negative amel gene.

** 2 additional pix of this snake in my kingsnake gallery on my website**

PB X T negative Albino results in a complex mutation (given the name "Jelly"...)
**Pic of Jelly in photo Gallery as well**

lastly I use Photobucket to upload and post pix

link to post where I explained how I use photobucket

anything that's not clear in is post i'll try to clarify... so post additional questions if you have any

Thanks very much for your explanation. I love that last picture on the keyboard - fantastic! I'll have a look at your others too, and give the photobucket thing a try. Thanks again.

Just looked at your website - beautiful snakes, and amazing pictures of them. Even since I discovered macro mode I can't get pictures like that! I'm sure it's mostly me, but I think a more expensive camera wouldn't hurt. The scales are so bright and vivid in your pictures - gorgeous.

Thanx.. I got a pretty good camera and it wasn't very expensive $179 shipped if I can remember correctly... Sony 4.1 MP dsc-p41... they are pretty good cameras, I took a few pix with my girlfriend's camera this weekend using Marco settings and I'm disappointed in it... she has one of the newer Canon models... personally I'll stick with Sony... I'll be upgrading to a newer Sony model as soon as I have enough cash to spare... Thanx again for the compliments

and yes I do plan of breeding many of my snakes

I'll add info on my site when there is definite evidence that pairings were successful.
